BUSINESS 

Our Company Arious Entertainment Group (“AEG”) has been in business for over 20 years, and we are a full service entertainment marketing and promotions Company located in Maryland  (outside Washington DC.) We specialize in entertainment marketing; entertainment consulting; artist management and development; promotions; production; themed events; investment and business development in the  Caribbean.

Over the years while building and developing our company we observed the outstanding growth of Internet Technology, and fully understood the power the Internet holds; with its world-wide broadcasting capability, the mechanism for information dissemination, and even seeing its medium for collaboration and interaction between individuals without regard of their demographic locations. Of course, we immediately recognized how important this wonderful Internet technology would help our business in its growth. Therefore, approximately 9 years ago we decided to enhance our entertainment service by adding Internet Marketing and Promotions.  Focusing on Grass Roots Marketing Campaigns and Direct eMail Marketing Campaigns.

We have targeted our Internet Marketing/Promotion business to the  Caribbean  Community, because communications has always been a big problem [in our community], and especially since there have been a very limited amount of mainstream full-time radio stations that promote the culture and the music. As you may be aware the Caribbean Community is spread out across the US, so reaching them has always been very difficult, and the Internet has absolutely changed that.

Our demographics are mostly people interested in  Caribbean Events, music, entertainment, and culture. Also, it consists of people interested in African-American issues and entertainment; so we have a combination of both cultures, plus a large African culture as well. Our e-mails reach a large number of folks here in our area and the East Coast, as well as a worldwide coverage; plus it includes many people in the mainstream entertainment and media industry.

       SUMMARY

 Naturally, we began working on developing our database, which has grown and now consists of over 35,000+ members.

 Our members are targeted people (Caribbean and non-Caribbean); but basically people with interest in Caribbean issues, including the culture and entertainment of  Caribbean  events. Plus current issues and events taking place in our everyday life.

With our database strategically and successfully being developed as we envisioned; we felt it was important to become a bit “tighter” with our members; basically work on easily reaching out to them (with just one click) instead of waiting for them to come to us via visiting our website. Thus, came the development of our Weekly E-Newsletter “The Arious Grapevine;” which focuses on/and discusses issues effecting Caribbean people; as well as people of color, and even nationalities in America, and across the globe. We also expose and market events, plays, books, festivals, and just about anything culturally.

As a result of our E-Newsletter successfully being developed and exercised as our way of constantly staying in touch, and a means of being close to our people. We then began focusing on the emergence of Social networking. Observing the success of "Facebook", "Myspace," "Twitter," and other social networks; we absolutely knew this would be another great vehicle for us to use to keep in touch regularly with our people and share information. We therefore, created and developed a targeted social network called www.mycaribbean.us; which is a place for people with interest in all things Caribbean to share there culture, pictures, events, music, videos, thoughts, and their overall experience with each other regularly. Our http://www.mycaribbean.us/ has been growing steadily; and we expect it to continue growing and to become a staple in  Caribbean  communications.

Another extension of our business that we are very passionate about is bringing the  Caribbean  community together; and we have made steps to establishing/creating a special company to make this possible.  This company is currently in the final stages of development and is called “Caribbean  Cooperative;" and for some time now we have had some Internet presence specifically via the social networks.

We at Arious endeavor to become a driving force in the entertainment industry, and we are committed to marketing and promoting Caribbean Music, Culture, and talent to the mainstream (take Caribbean music to the Mainstream market of America, and beyond). Plus we intend to develop an international distribution network for all Caribbean Entertainment and company projects.
