Greetings Dearest Online Family and Friends:  We at Arious Entertainment hope you are enjoying the wonderful Christmas Season, and we extend wishes of Joy and Good Tidings.

The joyousness of this sparkling season is just at its peak, because Christmas is only 2 days away.  And you must agree that there is something extra special about the majesty and miracle of it all…right?  This historical celebration of peace and good will brings true and permanent joy to all our hearts as we spend time reflecting, sharing, toasting, giving, rejoicing…laughing…talking and enjoying every special moment with our loved ones, and close friends!

Oh yeah...this magical time of year fills us with a sense of joy and merriment, which engulfs our entire being.  Indeed it is truly a time for GIVING, spreading good cheer, reverence, LOVE, forgiveness and gratitude.  This lovely season (CHRISTMAS) is THE SEASON OF HOPE, and the true meaning of the SEASON IS FAMILY [In my Opinion.]  Therefore, one must exhibit unconditional LOVE, plus reflect and give Thanks for their families; as well as for all they have, and have accomplished.  Oh yes, family!  I can just imagine how super exciting it must be for the families of the soldiers, and even the soldiers who have returned home from Iraq.  The feeling of euphoria must be filling their souls this 2011 Christmas season.

Woo'hoo'...the joy of this season!  Of which, for the 2nd year I am not feeling.  However, this morning while running errands; my husband Todd turned the radio to a local station that only plays Christmas carols during this season (97.1 FM); and I got a little tingling of something.  In fact, I found myself singing along with the artists; so clearly I felt something.  As for the scenery around me---hmmm, the soft glow of the lighted exquisite decorations in my home simply calms me after a long day.  And during the walks with the pet at night, I am mesmerized by the decorated yards and homes of our neighbors…marveling at the hard work they have put into making their homes sparkle.  Ahhh, the kindness that is exhibited during this time is awe aspiring; and the greetings are amazingly genuine.  Sometimes, I wish this season last the entire year...LOL!

Being that Christmas is a global celebration; obviously traditions and customs may change from place to place.  However, the festive spirit is the same all around the world.  Without a doubt since Christmas is only 2 days away many of you are busy preparing [hard] to celebrate the real meaning of Christmas in your own varied and innovative way.

Therefore, whichever way you celebrate, we at Arious Entertainment Group (AEG) sincerely wish you a very happy, healthy and joyful holiday.  All of us at AEG hope you have the special opportunity to spend some quality time with your family and friends; relaxing and preparing for a more brighter and prosperous New Year.  Additionally, we wish you many blessings, peace, understanding, healing, renewed strength; and GOOD TIDINGS, as well as the HAPPIEST OF HOLIDAYS!!!!  Below is our special Christmas/Holiday Card ~~ to each and every one of you our On-Line Family and Friends.  Kindly click on the picture directly below to see and read our special Christmas message.

Every year I have taken the time to point out how the different cultures celebrate the meaning of Christmas…the joy of Christmas; and how it is done in their special and unique ways.  This year I will continue with my yearly tradition [which you will find below], and I am hopeful you will read, learn and enjoy!

To many the religious significance is the true and deeper meaning of Christmas, and that Jesus Is The Reason For The Season!!  Yes, it is said the true meaning of Christmas  - A time of God showing his great love for all mankind, and most importantly the celebration of the birth of the Christ Child "Jesus."

“Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ The Lord.  Ad this shall be a sign unto you; ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.” –Luke 2:10-12.

Merry Christmas - God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to be born. His birth brought great joy to the world. Shepherds, wise men, and angels all shared in the excitement of knowing about this great event. They knew this was no ordinary baby. The prophets had told of His coming hundreds of years before. The star stopped over Bethlehem just to mark the way for those who were looking for this special child. This special child took the form of man to make it easier for us to love him, and because of love for him we love our fellow men. The true meaning Christmas" Luke 2: 4-19 says: (Courtesy of CBN.net: http://www.cbn.com

"So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.

This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about." So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart."

Happy Hanukkah - Hanukkah begins every year during this special season on the 25th of the Jewish Month of "Kisley and is celebrated for eight days and nights.  Therefore, this year Hanukkah began on December 20th at sundown and ends on December 28, 2011.

The Festival of Lights: Hanukkah is the most widely celebrated American Jewish holiday, possibly because it is a fun, child-centered occasion. It is celebrated with excellent food, exchanging gifts, and lighting beautiful menorahs (special Hanukkah candelabras) filled with brightly colored candles. Unlike some of the other Jewish holidays, which require intense spiritual reflection or elaborate preparation, it is easy to celebrate.

Many Jewish holidays commemorate events invested with historical and religious meaning, and Hanukkah is no exception. Hanukkah means  "rededication," and it commemorates the rededication of the Temple in Jerusalem after its desecration by foreign forces. The celebration also reaffirms the continuing struggle to live by God's commandments and to lead Jewish lives.

When all is said and done, perhaps the most important message of Hanukkah may be found in the name of the holiday itself: Dedication. When Jews have dedicated themselves, through faith and action, to the pursuit of high religious and human ideals, Judaism has been strong. That imperative, to strengthen our religion and our people, remains an important challenge at this season, in every generation.

is celebrated during this special season traditionally from December 26th, 2011 through January 1st, 2012.

Kwanzaa is an African-American cultural holiday conceived  and developed by Dr. Maulana Ron Karenga in 1966.  Each day of Kwanzaa focuses on Nguzo Saba, or the seven principles- "matunda ya kwanza" which means first fruits, Kwanzaa is rooted in the first harvest celebrations practiced in various cultures in Africa, and it seeks to (1) enforce a connectedness to African cultural identity, (2) provide a focal point for the gathering of African peoples, and (3) to reflect upon the Nguzo Saba, or the seven principles, that have sustained Africans. Africans and African - Americans of all religious faiths and backgrounds practice Kwanzaa.

NGUZO SABA - The 7 Principles of Kwanzaa

Umoja (Unity): To strive for and maintain unity in the family, community, nation and race.

Kujichagulia (Self-Determination): To define ourselves, name ourselves, create for ourselves and speak for ourselves.

Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility): To build and maintain our community together and make our brother's and sister's problems our problems and to solve them together.

Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics): To build and maintain our own stores, shops and other businesses and to profit from them together.

Nia (Purpose): To make our collective vocation the building and developing of our community in order to restore our people to their traditional greatness.

Kuumba (Creativity): To do always as much as we can, in the way we can, in order to leave our community more beautiful and beneficial than we inherited it.

Imani (Faith): To believe with all our heart in our people, our parents, our teachers, our leaders and the righteousness and victory of our struggle.

Please know that whatever is good and lovely, we wish it for you!!!  Have a Merry Christmas, A Joyful Kwanzaa, and for all our Jewish Friends, we hope your Hanukkah is lovely and peaceful.  And to our all the folks who celebrate Kwanzaa, may your celebration be wonderful.  We hope you had a happy Solstice as well.

As you celebrate this exciting, sparkling and spectacular Holiday, from our family to yours below is "A Christmas Blessing."  Please read and Enjoy... "A Christmas Blessing"

During this Christmas season,
May you be blessed
With the spirit of the season,
    which is peace,
The gladness of the season,
    which is hope,
And the heart of the season,
    which is love

Somehow, not only for Christmas
But all the long year through,
The joy that you give to others
Is the joy that comes back to you.
And the more you spend in blessing
The poor and lonely and sad,
The more of your heart's possessing
    Returns to you glad.

Oh dear, I want to let so many of you know that I appreciate your feedback regarding my thoughts of the Reggae Show we attended recently here in our area; which featured Reggae Star “Richie Spice” and the overly talented “Morgan Heritage”.  This NO band thing (Reggae Musicians singing to tracks) seems to not only be affecting me; as well as the road the Reggae music taking; including the disrespect to the fans, music and poor promotions of the music (on a whole).  This discussion I will have to "table" this week; after all it's CHRISTMAS!  However, I promise I will get back to it; and share many of your thoughts, ideas, gripes/negatives, positives, etc.  As a matter of fact, I plan to get back on this discussion during the 1st of the year.

Finally, I am truly happy that so many of our beloved soldiers have returned home to their families; and will be spending Christmas with their loved ones.  Yes, indeed, President Barack Obama has been true to his word regarding our soldiers being brought home in time for the holidays.  Oh, the joy this brings to my heart is absolutely amazing.  I know many families are extremely happy in America today.  As for the many who remained behind, especially in Aghanistan; may God Bless them and keep them safe. I pray they too are returned home soon.
