Greetings Dearest Online Family and Friends: How are you and your family? I am hopeful all of you are fantastic, and you had an extremely wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
many in America yesterday (Thanksgiving Day-November 24th) was a very
special day, and one spent with loved ones GIVING THANKS TOGETHER for the
abundance of blessings and good tidings/things that has come one’s way
throughout the year/s!
peaceful day is tremendously special to so many of us; because it’s when
we share the spirit of togetherness with those we love dearly.
While putting our worries and miseries aside (for the moment)
and reflecting on the accomplishments, successes, changes in our lives;
and even the struggles and shortcomings.
Whatever we may
be experiencing personally on this special day; we tend to put our
feelings and thoughts in perspective, and we make it a point to focus on
the good; as well as sincerely express our gratitude and appreciation.
INDEED IT IS A TIME FOR SHARING, GENUINELY EXPRESSING GRATITUDE; AND SPENDING TIME WITH, AND REJOICING WITH FAMILIES AND FRIENDS WHILE GIVING THANKS!
Ohhhhh, what a lovely holiday Thanksgiving is for many…many…many of us.
This year particularly families in America are rejoicing, and is truly giving THANKS that their loved ones will be returning home from Iraq (due to President Obama announcing to America in October of this year...the troops are being pulled out of Iraq, and will be returning home in time for the holidays.) I hope many of them are now back on American soil and is beginning to enjoy this lovely holiday season with their family and friends sharing, giving thanks, and just enjoying the festive season. Although, they are returning home, we are absolutely grateful for the service they have performed, and grateful for the their strength, commitment, and the many sacrifices they have made to keep our Nation safe. I do however understand many are still in Afghanistan---[hanging in there]---with the fight for the "Freedoms" of the American people, and I know their families must be heartbroken; so I want all our soldiers in Afghanistan and those who are still in Iraq, and around the world to know that: we at Arious Entertainment honor and thank them all for their sacrifices and we pray they are return home to their families from their mission soon! Our thoughts and prayers go out to each and every one of these soldiers as they serve time abroad; and most importantly, for the sacrifice of spending this special time away from their families and friends.
As I reflect further on this special holiday season and Thanksgiving, I frequently find myself saying those 2 special words "THANK YOU" to everyone who comes into my world...I find it very important to express my appreciation by letting them know how grateful I am for whatever they have done for me, and with me. I also find myself striving to always maintain that attitude of gratitude and practice Thanksgiving on a daily basis.
Additionally, I am very mindful especially during this season of the wonderful things I have accomplished. I am so very thankful for being able to know my purpose, and begin living it. I am thankful for being able to work towards, and reach my goals and dreams. My sincere appreciation and gratitude is expressed through prayer for my work, for my environment, and for my relationship with my spirit, my colleagues and associates. I give thanks for the help and support I receive through some of the most bizarre, worrisome and horrendous situations, and I am thankful for the positive and calm mindset I try to maintain during these crazy times. I am truly thankful for my health, my family and most importantly I am thankful for my best friend and lifelong partner – My Husband Todd. Indeed, I take this time to reflect on the many blessings in both Todd and my life, and in our IMMEDIATE family’s life (who reside in Trinidad, Arizona-USA & California-USA).
On a personal note this year's Thanksgiving was truly not the same for me [as I stated in my writing per my last week’s e-newsletter;] because my heart is still sore from losing my baby brother exactly 1 year ago. Oh...dear...dear...dear, how the sorrow still lingers! Yup, the tradition of Thanksgiving was halted a year ago, and the actual feast is no longer a major aspect in our lives. GIVING THANKS TOGETHER is all that is important to us, as well as giving back to those less fortunate than we are...those who may not have a meal or shelter; due to some unfortunate situation they may be experiencing (loss of job, home, or just down on their luck.) [The glorious and gratifying feeling that encompasses your mind, body and soul when giving to those less fortunate is truly humbling.]
Undeniably, my heart breaks for the less fortunate and I ask you to think about them during this special time of year; and consider stretching your dollars to include them [in some way or another.] Most importantly, I pray that the less fortunate are blessed with abundance of kindness and love, shear blissfulness and joy during this special time; and even food and shelter (if they are without.)
You know on-line friends and family, this is the perfect time of year to let you know how incredibly important you are to us, and how filled we are of gratitude because of your continued support. We are so very thankful for you and for your loyalty. We know we are absolutely blessed to have each and every one of you among our on-line family, and we take this time to express our thanks for your continued interest, readership, support and feedback. WE ARE TRULY THANKFUL THAT YOU HAVE FOR SO MANY YEARS ALLOWED US TO SHARE OUR EXPERIENCES, THOUGHTS, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY; FOR CONTINUING TO LISTEN TO WHAT WE HAVE TO SAY. THANK YOU…THANK YOU…THANK YOU!
As I close my thoughts on Giving Thanks (Thanksgiving). I leave you with a lovely quote about gratitude by Melody Beattle
A Special Note in remembrance of our special and loving Markie - My Baby Brother!
One year has passed since we lost our beloved Markie, and still we miss him dearly. From time to time throughout this year we all have shed tears. We the entire family are so grateful to have had our Markie in our life; and grateful for all the good times we spent together laughing with him...watching him dance with the unique moves you had...watching him dismantle everything electronic and putting it back together just they way he found it or even better...sitting and listening to him tell us all about what's going on in his mind...checking out the end result of his awesome sketching/drawings. Oh dear, we miss our Markie so very much, but we know he is in a better place, and is without pain. May he forever rest in peace!
